FISHING TIPS
Rescue A Sunken Rod
Recipe submitted by Paul Chambers of Pineville, La.
Have you ever dropped your rod and reel in the lake? If so, don’t give it up as lost. A safety-pin-type stringer might save it for you. Tie the stringer on your line using a strong knot and open the hooks or “pins” that hold fish. Cast beyond the area you dropped the rod and let the stringer hit bottom. Then reel slowly until you snag the rod.
